Jack - in - a - Box Theatre Company

At our daughters' school three of the "watchwords" are perseverance, resiliance and diligence! Well Puss has these in bucket loads. Perhaps this show would be of use to you to look at these qualities. Need to look at facing and overcoming challenges? It ticks that box too!

When the miller dies the only thing he bequeaths to his son is the family cat!! What Jack doesn’t know, however, is that this is no ordinary cat……. This is a very special and very clever cat indeed!

 Introducing Maximillion, Abercrombie, Arthur, Percy, Cedric Cat but you can call him Puss - everyone else does! All Puss requires is for Jack to spend the last of his money on a fine pair of boots, a rucksack and a rather nice hat with a feather in it. Rather dubious to say the least Jack duly trusts his friend and finds himself handsomely rewarded.

 Puss pulls on his boots and sets off to seek their fame and fortune. Using all his cunning and trickery (sometimes exposing himself to great danger) Puss soon acquires for his master fine clothes, acres of land, a grand castle and…… well …. Who knows perhaps even the hand in marriage of  the beautiful  princess herself !!!

Your children will be delighted and enthralled as they follow the adventures of Puss and his master in this wonderful musical  adaptation of the classic  tale..
